What is the law of towing semi-trucks from tow-away zone?
A semi-truck was towed from the “private tow-away zone”. I want to know what is the maximum amount it could cost by law to get it back and how they can tow it? Can they open the semi? What kind of equipment they should use?
The semi-truck was “towed” from private tow-away zone. It was opened and they drove to their facility, because it was loaded around 35000lb. I was wondering are they allowed to do that??? What is the maximum price they can charge for that?
You have to find out who towed the truck and then contact them as to how you will be billed and for how much. I don’t think they have a right to go into the cargo area of the truck unless there is probable cause to think there are dangerous chemicals or illegal drugs in it,in which case the law will be notified to open it.
