Help on shipping a motorcycle?
I need to send a motorcycle from Virginia to California.
And I need a cheap way to do this.
So, does anyone know of a good way to send my motorcycle?
Has someone ever sent one through train? Is this safe?

i have search it for you.. it was based on “freightcenter.com” other site usually dont give you the shipping calculator..they will usually prompt you to submit a code,and they will discuss with you as regard on how much its gonna cost by phone.
The following price is calculated using the widget from freightcenter.com
assumption made:
bike weight 500kg –> about 900 pounds
dimension of the bike —> 2 meter* 1meter * 1meter
destination: California (90001)
origin: Virginia (24701)
note that: the postal code is just a guess.
The price for shipping estimated would be around –> $400
This is pretty accurate in the sense of comparison company with the same service.
